As of early 2025, 3G networks in Australia have been discontinued. The PanTech PT-WS6006 weather station does not support Band 28 (700MHz), which is widely used for 4G coverage in Australia. As a result, compatibility issues may occur depending on your location and carrier.
The device hardware remains unchanged and can still operate on other supported 4G bands. However, we strongly recommend that you reconsider both the device purchase and your choice of SIM card or data plan, taking these compatibility factors into account.
